PRESENTATION
Lafon and Chardonnay, both Burgundy natives, are like two peas in a pod! Bruno's choice of vineyards, perched at loftier altitudes, is no accident. These heights offer just the right cool, temperate playground for the grapes to develop those snappy aromas and a crispness that'll make your taste buds dance. It's as if the Chardonnay is getting a taste of mountain air before gracing your glass!
LOCATION
Limoux's windswept vineyards, where those grapes soak up the sun while chilling in the cool air, are the South of France's best-kept secret. Think of it as the Goldilocks zone for Chardonnay – not too hot, not too cold, just right for these pampered grapes. The soil here is a fancy mix of chalk and clay, perfect for giving our wine its zesty edge. With cool nights and sunny days, this Chardonnay keeps its refreshing zing. It's like a spa retreat for grapes, resulting in a wine that's both rich and as lively as a spring day!
VINIFICATION
The grapes enjoy a bit of moonlight magic with night-time harvesting, keeping them cool and fresh. Bruno then gently clarifies the must at low temperatures, capturing the essence of each grape. The fermentation takes a relaxed pace at 16°-17°C in sleek stainless steel tanks, ensuring every note is perfectly tuned. Finally, a light filtration before bottling makes sure the wine you get is as clear and crisp as a starry night.

TASTING
This Chardonnay is a no-fuss, smooth sipper straight from one of Bruno's top-producing buddies. It's like a fruit basket with peach, pineapple, and citrus vibes, all coming together for a full, round taste that ends with a snappy finish. Plus, there's a hint of nuttiness that adds a neat twist and makes it a great match for a bunch of foods.
