Born on a bike ride. Bottled with purpose.
True Coast was founded on a ride up the Mont Ventoux in the South of France, where Dan found a lifelong friend and winemaking partner in Bruno Lafon, a Burgundy-born master of Southern French terroir. The two bonded over a shared love of clean, expressive wines and coastal culture. The result? A line of bright, minimal-intervention wines that bring the best of France to the American Coast.
SUSTAINABLE WINE PRODUCTION
True Coast Wines are proud to support organic, sustainable, and biodynamic vineyard practices, delivering approachable yet elevated wines from the historic Limoux vineyards of Southern France. The wines are a pure expression of nature and fruit, produced using minimal intervention with no new oak and no added sugar, to create bright, clean wines with lower alcohol content and lively aciditdy–the perfect complement for food or conversation.
CONNECTION & CULTURE
True Coast Wines celebrates the shared Gulf Coast and Southern French culture of hospitality and our mutual appreciation for food and wine traditions. The brand embodies a shared sensibility to coastal living where there is an appreciation for a way of life built around pride of place, a love of cuisine, culture, and a joie de vivre.
COMMUNITY IMPACT & GIVING
Our motto, ‘DRINK WELL | DO GOOD’ is more than words, it’s why we do what we do. The beaches and briny waters of the Gulf–and the people who inhabit them–are in our DNA. The Gulf Coast has a distinctive culture, and diverse communities that True Coast Wine is committed to sustain for the future. A portion of proceeds benefit coastal restoration efforts to preserve this unique place and way of life. We’re making it easy for people to drink well and give back.
